Of the millions of dollars won by lottery players in Massachusetts on Wednesday, $100,000 came from a ticket sold at a Stop & Shop in the state.
The $100,000 prize came from the daily Mass Cash drawing. The winning numbers in the drawing were 4, 8, 26, 27 and 28. The ticket was sold at the Stop & Shop in New Bedford.
Another lottery player also won $100,000 in the drawing with a ticket he bought at a store called “At Your Convenience” in Beverly.
Also claimed Wednesday was a $1 million prize on a “$10,000,000 Cash Blast” ticket purchased at a 7-Eleven in North Quincy. Also, someone won $120,000 in the “Keno” drawing on a ticket purchased at Oak Street Convenience in Brockton.
In total, at least 510 prizes valued at $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including eight in Springfield, 19 in Worcester and 52 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a complete list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets valued at over $600.
The highest lottery win ever in Massachusetts was $1 million a year for life this year.
The prize came from the lottery’s Lifetime Millions scratch-off game. The winner claimed his prize through a trust on July 10 and opted for a one-time payment of $15.4 million.
