Star Wars Outlaws features a reputation system that impacts Kay’s journey in a variety of ways. It opens doors and creates opportunities with each of the game’s four crime syndicates, grants you discounts at certain merchants, and rewards you for maximizing your reputation with each faction.
One thing that affects your reputation in the Underworld is the dialogue choices you make during main and side quests. The first such choice is presented to you at the end of the Underworld mission, a few hours into your playthrough.
After infiltrating the Pyke Syndicate base and stealing some valuable information, you return to your intel broker Danka, who introduces you to Eleera, a high-ranking member of the Crimson Dawn Syndicate.
Here you will have to make your first major story decision in the game: share the information about the Pyke traitor you just found, or save the information and give it to Gorak, the leader of the Pyke Syndicate, later.
Here are the two options you have and all the details of their consequences to help you decide.
If you share the information about the Pyke traitor with Eleera, your reputation with Crimson Dawn will increase, while your reputation with the Pykes will remain unchanged.
Since you are still at the beginning of the game, this will improve your reputation with Crimson Dawn from “bad” to “good”, allowing you to move freely within the territories and districts of this syndicate.
You will also receive your first reward from Crimson Dawn, a Crimson Reign coating to customize your blaster.
After you make your choice, Eleera will also get you fuel injectors for your ship, which she will do regardless of your decision.
If you keep the information from Eleera, you can offer it to Gorak, the leader of the Pykes. This will increase your reputation with them and unlock the Imperial Coating cosmetic for your blaster. Going from poor to good reputation will also allow you to enter Pykes territory without having to sneak up.
That’s everything you need to know about your first story choice in Star Wars Outlaws. Each choice completes the Underworld quest and allows you to move on in the story.
The end of Underworld and the start of the New Tricks mission also mark the point at which you can manually save your progress.
Such decisions will occasionally occur later in the game, and the main result of your decisions is usually a change in your reputation with the respective syndicates involved. Helping one faction will increase your reputation with them, but the decision may also decrease your reputation with the other faction.
