Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will meet with CNN this week for an interview, their first joint interview since launching their campaign.
According to a press release from the network, CNN anchor and chief political correspondent Dana Bash will conduct the interview with Harris and Walz in Georgia. Georgia, home of CNN headquarters, is one of the swing states that could decide the 2024 presidential election against former President Donald Trump.
This will be Harris’ first interview since she officially accepted the Democratic nomination after President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race in July.
