ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Six people have been arrested and five others are wanted for “(facilitating) criminal activity inside the Fulton County Jail,” officials said.
Deputies said an identity fraud investigation revealed that over a million dollars was used to bring contraband into the Fulton County Jail.
Six people were arrested:
- Anita Baker, 57, was charged with providing a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate
- Devin Brown, 18, was charged with obtaining/procuring/delivering a stored value card, card account number or PIN to an inmate and conspiracy to commit a crime.
- Markeisha Clark, 25, was charged with two counts of receiving/obtaining/delivering a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate
- Kimberly Floyd, 43, was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.
- Contrell Simpson, 41, was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime
- Brianna Smith, 27, was charged with obtaining/procuring/giving a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate
Five other people are wanted in connection with the investigation:
- Dajaiah Jackson, 26, is charged with six counts of obtaining/giving a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate.
- Mayke Jones, 25, is accused of obtaining/procuring/giving a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate
- Jo Lisa Moss, 24, is charged with two counts of providing/procuring/giving a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate
- Amere Smith, 19, is accused of obtaining/procuring/giving an inmate a prepaid card, card account number or PIN
- Tiambra Smith, 26, is charged with four counts of obtaining/procuring/giving a prepaid card, card account number or PIN to an inmate and one count of conspiracy to commit a crime
