Bicycle-riding bandit knocks down pickpocket in Brooklyn

A bandit on a bicycle beat a man before robbing him on a Brooklyn street, police said Friday.

The shocking attack occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. Sunday near Metropolitan Avenue and Manhattan Avenue in Williamsburg.

According to the NYPD, the attacker rode a Citi Bike toward his 26-year-old victim and struck him on the right side of the head, rendering him unconscious.

The thug then stole the man’s wallet and money.

The thief jumped back on the bike and fled.

According to police, he is still in the air.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.

A video shared by police shows the suspect with a ponytail, a black baseball cap, a black shirt and khaki pants riding the Citi Bike.
