During the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, several speakers attacked Donald Trump over his Project 2025 – the Heritage Foundation’s 900-page plan for a second Trump administration.
Trump has made great efforts to distance himself from Project 2025, but DNC spokespeople pointed out that Project 2025 was designed by close Trump allies.
In Pennsylvania – a key swing state that both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris see as crucial – a leaflet shows how hard Trump is trying to avoid any connection to Project 2025.

The flyer lists nine proposals from Trump’s campaign, from “repeal senior citizen taxes” to “rebuild cities” to “keep violent criminals off the streets.” And the flyer reads in all capital letters: “STRAIGHT FROM TRUMP’S PROGRAM… NOT PROJECT 2025, WHICH TRUMP DID NOT WRITE AND DOES NOT SUPPORT.”
A Pennsylvania voter supporting Harris posted the flyer on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “For some reason, Trump’s campaign in Pennsylvania sent me this. As can be seen on this flyer, Donald Trump is extremely concerned about people finding out that he plans to push through #Project2025. We must continue to tell voters that Trump IS #Project2025 because it works.”
Jeff Blehar of the conservative National Review also tweeted the flyer, writing: “Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard for this moment: Donald Trump is finally giving Project 2025 the attention it deserves in his campaign emails.”
Pennsylvania voter Tom Johnson of X reported seeing the flyer. Johnson tweeted, “Got the same flyer in the Philadelphia area. Had to laugh.”
