No. 1 tight end of the 2026 class sets his sights on the Hurricanes: Recruiting Runow

High school football in South Florida is in full swing, and the players signed for 2025 and 2026 have demonstrated the talent that got them recruited for the games in the first place.

But first, a five-star player for 2026 has received an offer from the Hurricanes and the multi-sport athlete has begun to set his sights on South Beach.

The best tight end in the country, Kendre Harrison, has officially received a basketball offer from the Miami Hurricanes. This may not surprise you, but many of the Hurricanes’ greatest players were athletes who played both sports. One notable player at his position was Jimmy Graham, who had a long career in the NFL.

This doesn’t mean he will focus exclusively on basketball, but it is a change from the recruiting process that focused solely on football over the summer.

The Canes are still in the process of signing a lot of talent. Many of the talented quarterbacks from the 2025 and 2026 classes are showing their outstanding talent in these games. Some of the running backs and defensive players have also started to take off.

Now that school has started again and players are back to work, recruiting will pick up. Some new names will start to show their skills, and with games coming up, some of that talent will be able to see what a possible future with the Canes could look like.
