Wade Newgard and Brooke Legler were the respective men’s and women’s open champions at the Pipestone Country Club Championship.
The two-day event took place on Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18, under ideal weather conditions.
Newgard scored 153 over two days, three strokes ahead of second-best McCaden Biever. Legler scored 168 over two days, two strokes less than Emaleigh Rippentrop.
Groundskeeper Trey Pottratz was pleased with the almost twice as many participants as at the 2023 tournament.
Ninety-one golfers competed in seven divisions.
