K-pop boy band NCT Dream has released a music video for their new English-language single “Rains in Heaven.” Watch it below.
In the new visual, the members of NCT Dream wander through an overgrown forest and past abandoned buildings before finally coming together to celebrate a new beginning as rain falls on them.We’re all the same but the pain is different / I heard when you cry it rains in the sky / I won’t let you fall / Unless you’re in my arms / Only in my arms,“, they sing in the chorus.
‘Rains in Heaven’ was co-written by the group’s rapper, Mark Lee. According to the Korea HeraldThe boy band will perform the song live for the first time during the American leg of their ongoing “The Dream Show 3: Dream( )Scape” world tour, which will kick off later this month in Bogota, Colombia.
The new single is NCT Dream’s first release since the release of their sixth mini album “Dream( )scape” in April. In a three-star review of the record NMETássia Assis praised the “maturity and uniqueness” of the B-sides, but criticized the choice of the first single, writing that “any K-pop group could make ‘Smoothie'”.
