Not everyone enjoys theorizing, scrolling through patch notes, and playing a metagame that revolves around creating the best build possible. What often seems to be the domain of aRPGs like Path of Exile (which recently received a very well-received update) has spread to other games as well. Sword of Convallaria may not be the most complex title when it comes to developing a character, but no one has ever scorned some guidance, or at least inspiration, for creating a viable build. If you’ve rolled Beryl, here’s how to make her a deadly mage.
Deadly Mage Beryl built in SoC
Beryl is not the only character we have prepared a guide for. Check out our other builds: Dantalion, Col, Maitha, Inanna, Gloria, Faycal, Momo, Rawiyah, Crimson Falcon, Alexei, Garcia, Nungal, Samantha, Edda, Tempest, Nergal, Iggy and Angel. A less detailed but more concise version can be found here.
Beryl is one of the characters worth rerolling, she is also at the top of our rankings. For this reason, we have prepared a Deadly Mage build for her in Sword of Convallaria. This can be especially useful considering that The game offers no respec (or Skill Tree Reset), so you only have one try. You can use a special currency called Castaliato purchase other skills from the tree.
Since we go on the offensiveTo fully exploit the performance of Beryl, we can immediately reject any healing abilities that the skill tree offers. This leaves us with the following:
- RK 1 – Wall of flames (left),
- RK 3 – NRG Recovery (Right),
- RK 5 – sweetness (Right),
- RK7 – Flaming Meteor (left),
- RK 9 – Searing Attack (left),
- RK 11 – BOOOOOOM! (left).
Beryl shines when it comes to AOE damage. Combining that with her passive ability that increases her magical attack and it will cause total chaos on the battlefield and eliminate groups of enemies with ease. You can complement this deadly combination with Instructions for the World Tarotto boost your NRG recovery even further. Their various attack patterns make them useful in battles and complement any team composition you choose.
