LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have received new video to help identify the perpetrator of bulldog Reba’s shooting.
Reba was left in a duct-taped tote bag and thrown into a dumpster near Maryland Parkway and Twain Avenue.
“We have found additional video footage that we believe will help us identify the perpetrator of this crime,” said Sergeant William Gethoefer of the LVMPD’s Animal Cruelty Unit.

Authorities said investigators are continuing to collect clues to assist in the search.
“We are not quite at the identification stage yet, but there are some connections that are emerging for us at this time,” added Sgt. Gethoefer.
Lead investigators said they contacted local businesses around July 26, when Reba was found, to request surveillance footage.
“We conducted a thorough and comprehensive investigation,” said Sergeant Gethoefer, “just as the community wants and just as the community deserves.”
Reba was taken to a veterinarian for emergency care and died days later.
Vegas Pet Rescue is offering a $50,000 reward through various donors for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
