Event dates and participation
The Rising event in Final Fantasy XIV begins on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. GMT (5:00 p.m. AEST). The event will last until Wednesday, September 11, 2024, giving players two weeks to complete the event. An active Final Fantasy XIV subscription is required to participate in the event, but players using the free trial can also join in the festivities.

Rewards
This year’s Rising event in Final Fantasy XIV features two new rewards. Players can earn a Brushed Up Krile minion that celebrates their role in the Main Scenario Quest (MSQ). This minion features a miniature Kril holding her Pictomancer brush, a nod to the newest job introduced in Dawntrail.
Additionally, a new Rising Table Lamp is available for home enthusiasts. This item can be added to your home by completing the event. Players also have the option to purchase rewards from previous events from the event vendors. This will allow participants to collect any items they may have missed in previous years.
How do I start?
To start the Rising 2024 event, players must accept the quest “Heeding the Call.” This quest can be found in the upper decks of Limsa Lominsa.
