Considering how wonderfully kitschy the 1997 original is – and what smart guys the two stars are – it is surprising that Paul Rudd And Jack Black According to reports, rumors are circling around a reboot of Anaconda.
However, The Hollywood Reporter says this is the case.
The director will Tom Gormicanwho successfully absurd Nicholas Cage/Pedro Pascal Comedy “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” so this probably won’t be a mediocre remake.

As for Black and Rudd, according to THR, it’s not yet clear who’s playing who, but the two main characters in Gormican’s project are guys in a midlife crisis who want to remake their favorite snake movie – and then get into real trouble in the jungle. One is a wedding photographer, the other an actor hoping to get down and out and get back into the spotlight.
