Brooke Mueller was questioned by the Los Angeles Police Department before bringing charges in connection with Matthew PerryDeath. And until now, it was hard to say why. They were supposedly friends and rumors said they dated once. But what did she have to do with his death?
Charlie SheenNo charges were brought against the ex-wife, unlike several others, but it turned out that the police were right to investigate her. A source said We weekly on Wednesday that the couple have had a complicated relationship over the years after bonding in rehab while struggling with addiction and mental health issues. The insider explained:
“They met a few times in rehab, and the last time they met again during treatment, they were back on each other’s radar.”
Unfortunately, they apparently did not only support each other.

The Friends The former graduate reportedly approached Brooke to request “favors.” They said:
“Matthew was a friend who asked her for favors. And Matthew was relentless. That’s what an addict is like. She was a puppet for Matthew. They didn’t go to dinner or hang out together. He was even isolated from friends and family.”
The insider believes that these “favors” also included exchanging the names of shady doctors who, he claims, are more lax in prescribing medication:
“For years, Matthew and Brooke had been sharing information about doctors. And it was suggested that they were more liberal about medication than others.”
Phew. The source claimed Brooke “would give him names of potentially questionable doctors.” And besides, this was mostly a one-sided deal:
“Usually it was Matthew who contacted her, not the other way around. It was a random text and Facetime.”
Their connection quickly worried the people in the Fools storm in Star’s inner circle so much that measures were reportedly taken to exclude her. The source shared:
“The people around him tried to stop him from contacting her.”
The source added that Matthew “was already dependent on prescription drugs to meet his daily healthcare needs.” But combine that with his addiction, and it’s a brutal (and ultimately deadly) combination.
Ultimately, five people were charged with Matthew’s tragic death: his personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa“Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha, Mark Chavez, Salvador PlasenciaAnd Eric Fleming. The charges included conspiracy to distribute ketamine, distribution of ketamine resulting in death, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and altering and falsifying records in connection with a federal investigation, per UsDrowning, coronary heart disease, the effects of buprenorphine (a drug used to treat opiate addiction) and other health problems were also cited as contributing factors to Matthew’s death, but the high levels of ketamine in his body were the biggest cause for concern.
Although he was taking ketamine under supervision to treat his depression and anxiety, the amount of the drug in his system and the timing of his death suggested that this had not been part of his therapy. It was later discovered that his assistant had allegedly administered ketamine to him several times on the day of his death. Simply tragic.
Although Brooke allegedly exchanged the names of doctors with him, the police did not find anything incriminating during her questioning, as she was not arrested. In contactAuthorities seized Brooke’s laptop and iPhone during an investigation and she “was completely cooperative.” She has not commented on the investigation or her relationship with the late actor.
