So sweet!
Bachelor Nation star Madison Prewett and her husband Grant Troutt recently announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first baby together, and the reaction from her followers, friends and family has been full of love and support.
Since this announcement, the parents-to-be have talked more about their pregnancy, how they found out about it and how they feel in a new episode of their “Stay True Podcast.”
In the episode, Madi reveals that they had just started talking about starting a family when she found out she was pregnant.
“We just said we want to try, and we said we don’t want to put any pressure on it,” she said. “We don’t know what this journey is going to look like.”
And Grant previously revealed in the conversation that Madi waited a whole week to tell him the news after finding out she was pregnant.
Revealing the reason, Madi admitted that after the tests, she thought, “Oh my God, I’m pregnant. But I can’t tell Grant yet because this is his last week at work!”
Since he just had to finish up his job and didn’t want him to feel overwhelmed, Madi decided to take it easy so Grant could focus on finishing up his last week. She also planned to surprise him with a sweet gift when he was done, which helped make her wait.

“I’m going to order a really cute little gift to tell him we’re pregnant. It’ll take a few days to arrive anyway, so it’ll be fine,” she said.
As the episode progresses, Grant and Madi start laughing as they think back to that week before he knew it. “You were so emotional that week,” Grant joked to Madi, “and I remember you saying, ‘You’re such a good man and such a good husband,’ and I was like, ‘Dude, my wife loves me!'”
Grant then recounted when she finally told him and what a special moment they shared together. “I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was this wooden frame that said, ‘We’re having a baby,'” he recalls. “I look down and there’s the pregnancy test… and right next to it is this little Jordan baby shoe and behind the Jordan is the same type of shoe but in my size.”
Grant went on to say he felt like he was having an out-of-body experience and couldn’t believe what he saw. Madi said he was a little upset that she waited a week to tell him, but the couple agreed that it was such a sweet and special moment that they shared together.
We are so happy for them and can’t wait to hear more news about the baby. We know they will be wonderful parents!
