India will play a constructive role: Tusk on India’s role in mediating the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk praised relations between India and Poland and said India would play a crucial role in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. “Today we decided to raise our relations to the level of a strategic partnership. This is not just a definition, not just words. Behind it is our determination to cooperate with each other in various areas. We started by clarifying very emotional issues,” Tusk said in his press conference.

“Prime Minister Modi has reiterated his readiness for a peaceful, lawful and immediate end to the war. We believe that India can play a significant and very constructive role. Therefore, this announcement is very important for us. Mr. Prime Minister, in 10 hours you will visit Ukraine. We believe that your visit to Ukraine will be historic,” he added.
