Baltimore traveled to Green Bay this week for its final preseason game, and there will be even more competition thanks to a single joint practice on Thursday morning.
The Packers will welcome the Ravens to Lambeau Field this week on Thursday, August 22nd for a joint practice before the two teams’ preseason game on Saturday, August 24th.
The Ravens will begin their practice at Clarke Hinkle Field on one side of the Don Hutson Center before joining the Packers for the joint portion of practice at Ray Nitschke Field on the other side of the Don Hutson Center.
Thursday is also the last public practice in the Packers’ 2024 training camp. An additional highlight for fans and players is the Ravens’ participation in the traditional bike ride to the field.
The Packers’ official website states that they want Ravens players to experience one of the NFL’s most famous training camp traditions, so children from all fan bases in Green Bay are encouraged to bring their bikes to Lambeau Field to ride the Ravens before practice. If enough bikes are available, each Ravens player will ride their bikes to practice, so fans and community members are encouraged to welcome the team in true Green Bay fashion.
During practice, kids can park their bikes at the Hinkle Field fence and wait for practice to end, then offer their bikes to Ravens players coming through the gate so they can ride back to the locker room.
