The online dispute between Nigerians and South Africans has taken on a new dimension as citizens of both countries have the option to take a cruise by ordering a taxi online and canceling the ride.

South Africans visit the house and order a Bolt bike worth over 20,000 Naira.

They flash their card as if they were in Nigeria and start ordering taxis. Nigerians are fighting back by ordering South African taxis from the comfort of their own homes.

Nigerians on X, formerly Twitter, are mobilizing their fellow citizens to use e-hailing apps and book rides in South Africa to demonstrate the power of numbers.

Some Nigerians mock the South Africans for starting a “war” against taxi bookings that will achieve nothing, saying that Nigerians get more cars than them.
