Charles Leclerc is arguably one of the most attractive F1 drivers in the field. When the Monegasque met with Tom Clarkson for an episode of the podcast F1: Beyond the Grid, the Ferrari driver was asked who would play him in a film.
Clarkson said the answer was pretty obvious, but Leclerc hesitated, wondering why. The presenter suggested Daniel Radcliffe as his choice, suggesting that the Monegasque looks like him. Many memes were made about Leclerc looking like Harry Potter with glasses. Clarkson concluded that the Ferrari driver looks less like Radcliffe today than he did back then.
Charles Leclerc then chose Timothee Chalamet as his double for a film. He said: “I would probably say… Some people say I look a bit like Timothée Chalamet, but I don’t know. Personally, I don’t see it that way, but he’s a great actor, so I would go for him.”
Many fans on social media compare Chalamet and Leclerc and go crazy about both of them. He seems to be strong on social media as he knows what is being said about him on the internet.
However, this was not the first time Leclerc answered the question with Chalamet as the answer. In a video with Sportbible, the Ferrari driver was asked the same question, with the answer being the same despite mentioning a different actor.
Leclerc said: “There are two people who appear on social media quite often. I mean, the people who look like me… Timothée Chalamet and Noah Schnapp.”
The Stranger Things superstar is also often referred to as Leclerc’s doppelgänger. But since the Monegasque now has his beard, the resemblance is not visible.
