Living in the best-planned city in the world has its pros and cons. Sometimes you can enjoy the best food, sports and architecture in the world. Other times, driving through the most confusing intersections at an international border can get you into a lot of trouble.
That’s exactly what happened to a 19-year-old Buffalo man who drove a stolen car through an intersection that has tricked the best of us and got himself into trouble.

According to a press release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, CBP officers encountered a man who gave a false name at the Peace Bridge International Border Crossing. After some investigation, officers determined that the 19-year-old’s car, a dark-colored 2012 Scion, had been reported stolen in Buffalo.
After this determination was made, the man was taken to the second inspection area at the Peace Bridge, where he was detained until officers from the Buffalo Police Department arrived at the border.
