Between rounds 1 and 2 of the Downhill World Cup, the Kenda NS Bikes UR team received an invitation from NS Bikes to visit Czarna Gora in Poland, the home of NS Bikes. This trip was an absolute blast, definitely one of the best we’ve done in a long time! Work felt more like pleasure as we filmed in one of Europe’s best kept secrets, the Czarna Gora NS Bikes Bikepark. The NS Bikes crew brought their infectious energy they are known for and showed us everything we had missed, from cool trails to amazing food and great people. We are already counting down the days until we can return next year and have even more adventures in Poland.

When the race season started I was excited that we would be experiencing Poland for the first time, but I had no idea how much it would exceed my expectations. With NS being based in Poland it was going to be a big event for us anyway, but as we approached race week we had the chance to hang out with a group of the NS Bikes crew and enjoy a few laps around Czarna Góra, which was a real treat. Kambożan immediately became the favourite of the group and riding gaps and certain lines on the enduro bike made it even more exciting.
The crew at the bike park did a great job opening up a few new trails in time for anyone who wanted to arrive and ride them to the ground! The days in Czarna Góra led us straight into a great week racing near Bielsko Biala and we couldn’t be more excited to come back next year for more riding, racing and eating pierogies!

As it is not only my first year with the Kenda NS Bikes UR Team, but also my first year in the World Cup, all the experiences we have and all the people I meet are new. When I got the invitation to come to Czarna Góra Bike Park in Poland, the home country of NS Bikes, I thought I would just watch the guys film and meet the NS staff over dinner. Almost immediately after arriving I realised I was wrong and the fun began. They provided me with a bike for the weekend and I threw myself into the full local tour: trail riding, bike park laps, good food and attempts to learn Polish. We got to conquer their new trail, Kambodża, which I fully count among my top three favourite trails in the whole world. I think I rode it seven times in a row, doing my laps while the guys made a few clips, without even a hint of boredom. We rode along different routes in a large group and everyone encouraged each other to try new things with big smiles and lots of laughter.
The whole NS and Czarna Góra crew were amazing. It felt more like a weekend getaway with friends than a work trip and it was clear that this is exactly what NS Bikes is all about. I’m pretty grateful to be working with such a fun crew. They’ve set the bar pretty high for all the new experiences I’ll have and the people I’ll meet. Hopefully we can come back for more rounds of pierogis and kamdodża! Siema Mordo!

When I first arrived in Poland I woke up to beautiful mountains and great scenery and was greeted by the NS Stay True crew. The crew had good vibes and happy people from the start. I thought maybe it would be more of a business and film week but it turned out to be great fun with a great group of people. I loved experiencing everything Czarna Gora had to offer including their new trail Kambodza. They have incredible terrain where they have created a great trail network and we all had a great few days riding and filming. Truly an amazing experience that showed me what NS is all about.
Until next time! Siema Mordo!

We also had the chance to meet and hang out with some other NS Bikes athletes and ambassadors from other disciplines including Enduro, E-Enduro, DH and Slopestyle, including up and coming slopestyle rider Natalia Niedzwiedz, which was awesome. We might need to brush up on our Polish for the next trip, Duolingo lessons are now mandatory!

When I first came to Poland I didn’t really know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised; the place is super beautiful, from the landscape to the buildings to the people. On the first day we went straight to Czarna Góra bike park and met up with some of the locals who showed us around. Our expectations were all exceeded and we were hooked from the first lap. We started with enduro bike laps. It’s such a unique bike park with the terrain and the way things are built, I loved everything about it. The next couple of days we did laps on the downhill bikes and not one part was a disappointment, every track was so awesome!! The NS crew were all there too having a good time with us and the vibe was as good as always! We can’t forget the food either, Polish food is amazing. I loved my time in Czarna Góra and would love to go back there soon to visit again! Siema Mordo.—George Brannigan |

It’s always fun to explore new places, but this one blew me away… an invitation to Czarna Góra bike park for a weekend with the NS Bikes crew sounded great, but I didn’t expect to find such a gem!
It was amazing to meet so many amazing people and enjoy time with them, try the most Polish things we could think of and get to know everyone! And not only that, but also shred some of the craziest trails I’ve ridden in a long time! Especially the brand new Kambodża trail, fresh jumps, clay and technical sections, it really had everything! An eventful time of riding, filming, laughing and all around good times really summed up what NS bikes are all about and I’m all for it!
If you can’t find me, I’m in Czarna Góra!
